Drop Off Location for Book Donations: Directions
Donations can no longer be left at the library because of space constraints. 
YOU NEED TO CALL AHEAD: Please call Sharon Haslett at 610-329-1905
Starting 4/16/13, book donations collected by Friends of the Newtown Library at 

6 North Newtown Street Road (RT 252) next to the Firehouse for boxes or bags of books*

  • Call to see if bins are in place at Acme produce entrance bin & Burlap & Bean drop off bin
  • Patrons can place a small number of donated items on the donation cart in the lobby where books are sold.

DONATIONS: We also accept videos, music CDs, books on tape/CD, readers digest, games and puzzles. BUT PLEASE NO encyclopedias or old textbooks.

* Directions from the library to

  • Turn left onto Bishop Hollow Rd.
  • Cross West Chester Pike to Clyde Ave since it is on south bound side of RT 252
  • make a right towards the Wawa on Munger Rd or park behind the building
