5th Annual MLQ Quilt Exhibit: Thirteen quilts made by Main Line Quilters Guild members will be on display at the Newtown Public Library from March 1 through March 31, 2010 to celebrate National Quilting Month. A wide variety of quilt techniques are represented in wall quilts made by Debbie Peyton, Ruth Lazarus, Helen Larkin, Rosemary Lynch, Marcia Harrington, Shirley Peterson, Linda LaPointe, Ann Randolph, and Liz Ness. Quilts may be viewed during library hours. Visit mainlinequilters.org for more information on the quilt guild. Please ask circulation desk staff for the notebook which details each quilt in the exhibit.

Free Foreign Language Classes for kids
: Sign up by March 1st. Three classes are in the library's community room from 4 PM to 5 PM, Fridays in March except 3/19. Click here for more info and sign up form.

Origami Time: Sun., March 27 at 2 PM. Come help celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival by listening to a Japanese story and learning how to do origami. Recommended ages 6 and up. No registration.

Amelia Earhart Program at Dunwoody Village. Friends of the Library and the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society are presenting this program on Wednesday, May 19. (Time is to be announced.)
